My microwave beeps every 60 seconds after it's been used, an irritating
but actually helpful reminder that you've left something in it.
I wouldn't call accidentally leaving something in the trunk of a car a
cooking goof. Sky was tired from unloading groceries in the heat. I
understand that! So, she fell asleep. She didn't fall asleep while she
was cooking. <G>
I once had a package of raw fresh fish fall out of a grocery bag in the
trunk of my car. It was also in the summer, very hot outside. The fish
was in there for at least a day. The next time I went to get in the
car... OMG.
Here's an endorsement: Febreez did an excellent job of removing that
horrific stench. Of course I also left the windows and the trunk open
to let it air out. But ever since then I swear by Febreez.
