The BGE is indeed pretty cool. The Kamado, Primo and Grill Dome, being
other brands of ceramic cookers like the BGE, are also probably pretty
cool. (I've got a BGE and am very pleased with it in every respect, so
take that into account.)

You should go to the respective brands' web sites and read up on various
features of each, customer support claims, user fora, etc. Then you
need to decide whether you want to get a ceramic cooker now or some
months from now, whether you want one that weighs more than you or less
than you, etc.

There are both rabid and rational enthusiasts for all of the ceramic
cookers, and it will be up to you to separate the rabid claims from the
rational ones.

For me, the fact that I could go look at four different models of BGEs
at a local store, get delivery of my chosen model(s) within a couple of
days, and call on local post-sale support far outweighed other
considerations. The fact that the BGE has worked out to be an excellent
cooker is also a plus. ;-)
