I have a few files in Word. I also use Access to sort and find them. You
just make a table and "paste" the section or page of the file into the table
and when you click on the cell, it opens Word, opens the file, shows that
page.

The Access table has headings for Name, Category, Main Ingredient,
Source,and finally the recipe.

I keep things backed up every couple of months to a CD.
