I hate to tell you, but you can't be too sure about a bird's chances of
recovery. I have seen birds go down after hard window strikes but they
got up, dusted themselves off and flew away. Broken bones can heal.
Most of those birds are young and young bones mend quickly. A birds
broken bones can mend within a week.
