I resist preconceived notions because it always affects ones perceptions. I don't want my perceptions messed with because, in the end, these things are limiting to a person.
It's fairly obvious that the food of the future will be vastly different from the foods of today, just as the foods we enjoy today are not the foods from a 100 years ago. We'll be synthesizing and building food in the future. Growing and farming will be seen as too slow and inefficient. I think we live in the golden age of foods. We still grow our foods and it's safer and more varied than it's ever been. Enjoy it while it lasts.
The food science industries are sure to be an important and fast moving one..
