Pumpkin and leek soup?
Going to make a soup today. I have a leek that needs using, I also
have plenty of golden nugget squash/pumpkin so thinking about this
combination. Yes or no? I don't think it would be a particularly bad
combo but wondering if the leek's subtle flavour would be lost.
OTOH the leek could wait a couple more days, then I could make potato
and leek soup. Now that combo definitely works well.
