She's at work. She's not 12, she doesn't need you hanging
over her, oh, she's late, what to do. I laugh at the thought
my parents would have been at home, wringing their hands,
work was over, where is she? They didn't do that when I
was 14 and had an after school job. Let her live her life
already.

If you were supposed to pick her up, she'd have to let you know
she wasn't coming out. Somehow she would manage.

Quit fixating on her, she'll text you on her way out if it's
that scary for you to think she can just come home when she
wants to without all the hand holding and drama.
