That tiny house on that tiny lot... the Bove's house would be barely
worth $75,000 where I live in the northern Catskills.... if it had a
few acres it would qualify as a hunters cabin. I don't believe that
house would sell for $400,000... the most any realtor would list it
for is $100,000, and it would sell for under $75,000. How the Bove
describes it (trashed) I doubt it's salable. To me a slab house in
any location is worth $ZERO... on a tiny lot like the Boves, it's a
liability, it's totally worthless... I wouldn't pay 5¢ for it... I
just paid $10,000 to have a much better house in a far better location
on seven very private acres demolished.
