into play they changed it to one. Here in CT it is only after so many
years and you change owners. Some years ago a study was done
comparing states with mandatory inspection and those that had none.
Thee was no significant differences in accidents caused by faulty
equipment.

That is surprising! We don't have to have it tested on change of owner but
new cars are exempt for the first three years.
