I find that hard to believe. I have seen many plastic bags in trees.
They sometimes get away, perhaps blown out of a garbage can or recycling
bin, or sucked out an open car window. Then the wind dumps them in a
tree. They may or may not eventually disintegrate enough to fall down
or get blown out.
