I can guarantee that if I eat out, my weight will shoot up from the salt
causing water retention. You are probably right about Latin restos,
which I suppose you mean Latin American. There's an Argentinian one in a
heritage building by the Bow River in Calgary and when I had lunch
there, the guy next to me complained that his burger was only just
edible because of the salt. You could see the cooks throwing salt on the
food with great abandon.
