Most children eat with their fingers, as a sign of attaining adulthood
one begins to use chop sticks, chop sticks are really extensions of
ones fingers. I've never eaten french fries with utensils, I've
always used my fingers... first time I ate french fries they were from
a deli, served in a small brown paper bag.
