I am not sure about that. I am inclined to think that most of the
produce is grown with the same basic methods, the same fertilizers and
pesticides. Some of it looks prettier. I get most of my produce from a
local discount grocery store. Their produce is always good, and it is
much cheaper than the other local stores. The biggest difference in
appearance is in the peppers. They rarely have the big plum symmetrical
red peppers. Instead, they have the gnarly looking ones that are tapered
and twisted. The do not make nice looking rings, but if you are dicing
them they serve the purpose, and they are less than half the price.
