beaches." The beaches are never white though, just a very light brown.

White Sands in NM though really is pure white sands. Looks like you are
driving through snow but then you get out of the car and it's 90f+
degrees. Without looking it up, I think it's gypsum and not regular
sand. Don't stay too long though...it's probably still radioactive. ;o
