I use kosher salt only, I tranfer the three pound box to quart mayo
jars... those cardboard boxes suck moisture out of the air, they
should at least have a foil liner. I put a few of those desicant
capsules from medicine bottles in the jars. Can also fill a mesh tea
infuser with rice.
