I have to say that it surprises me to read comments like that. I have
eaten a fair amount of beef soup over the years and usually found them
pretty tasty. After being raised on canned soups I have tried hard not
to base my opinion on any kind of soup on the canned stuff. Beef and
barley, beef and bean, French Onion... all very good.
