I didn't replace the condenser because the cost was over $400 and they would have had
to remove the refrigerator to do the job. A new GE that fit in the same spot, 22cf., was
around $600. If I did the repair, I might have another condenser which would fail too
soon. I couldn't predict how long it would last. I don't require anything like an auto
ice maker or the like, so my choice was perfect for me.
