That is a decent lunch, it would sate me...but I can eat huge amounts of veg, a quart of salsa or whatever would be no problem (without any added carbs, fat, or protein).
[The amount of what Sheldon mentioned he ate on that particular day would probably seem parlous to an olden times farmer, they had to ingest huge amounts to fuel all that energy they expended...]
