Bummer. Get well soon.

I know that feeling. I went through something a couple years ago. I
thought it was a stomach flu and a relative who had it suffered for 5
days. My wife kept saying I should go to a doctor and I saw no reason
to. By the sixth night was was extremely dehydrated. My wife insisted I
go to the ER. No way I wanted to go and sit there with a bunch of sick
people, especially if if presented the possibility of having to puck
into an ER public toilet.
I agreed to go first thing in the morning. That night the paid started,
just bad enough that I could not get comfortable enough to sleep, so we
went at 6 am. There was no crowd there so not much of a wait and by 9 am
I had been admitted and surgery scheduled for the next morning. That
week of nausea was my body's version of a gall bladder attack and.
according the report, it was serious inflamed and there was necrotic
tissue.

Dehydration is a curious thing. You don't really feel thirsty. You
don't feel inspired to drink. Now you have me worried because I am on
statins for cholesterol and liver damage is a potential side effect.
