Maybe one of these days I'll take you up on that. Thing is, I can't
find a good reason to buy (much less make) a fruitcake. You can't
miss what you never had.

As for the 'cocktail' bread... yep, I've used cocktail/party rye bread
to make appetizers. Party "pizzas" on rye... damn, it's been a long
time since I made those.
