Rubbish. Animals will eat anything tasty because they have no clue if
it will kill them. Ask any farmer or horse owner, about the dangers of
yew and rhododendron; or ragwort.

According to you, "Animals aren't stupid...they know what's good or
not".. remember? If that was the case dogs would never eat anything
toxic or die of poisoning. The fact is they love sweet stuff, even
chocolate, mincepies, christmas cake and pudding, all of which can kill
them.
