Great minds! I made multi-bean soup today. Used half a box of
chicken stock, lots of water, some onion a lot of garlic... and cooked
it for a couple of hours. Added a smallish turnip fresh from my
son-in-law's garden, cut into small dice + the leaves/stems and a
teaspoon of bacon fat. Served it with buttermilk cornbread. Yum!

Avoid cutting yourself when slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold them.
