I have three ceramic knives and all three of them are badly chipped. I
have a good quality knife sharpener and a special hand held ceramic
knife sharpener, but they are nowhere near as sharp as they used to be.
The first few years I had them they were razor sharp. I don't think that
they were abused. They just aren't as durable as steel. My wife still
uses them regularly, but I tend to use the steel knives.
