No, I suppose you did not suggest that, though it is a well known fact
that DDT was the major cause of the decline of the eagle population,
along with a lot of other birds of prey. What you said was " After

Well, good luck with that. I don't think that you were anywhere near as
shocked by the idea as I was that you suggested that it was major cause
of the decline of the bald eagle. You didn't just mention it as one of
many factors. You said that Americans hunting eagles from helicopters
nearly wiped them out.
