Brie is too good on it's own to violate with raspberries, nuts, or
anything else. Brie is one of the world's few viands that can't be
improved by adding anything whereas anything whatsoever added will
detract... even plain bread or crackers will depreciate fine brie.
Brie is best appreciated all on it's own, perhaps with a flute of Dom
Perignon. Many years ago in France a very attractive Rubenesque
farmer's daughter fed me her father's best brie from her honey dipped
fingers... I ain't saying from what flower that honey came. She
looked very much like this, my kind of woman:
