Don't wax so lyrical DS1, I have 20 years electric and 20 gas. Of the
2, there is no real difference in heating the room in summer when
cooking. I actually live in a hotter climate than you as you have very
little variation in temps and would melt at my 105-110F levels frequent
in summer.
