One of the few occasions I bought an "as seen on TV" product, I got a
two-fer of these Grab Bags:

I really like them. The checkout person and also a customer behind me
said "Hey, didn't I see those on TV?" Yep. The clips hold the bag(s)
open on the cart so you can easily put items in them. The problem is,
you have to unload them at the checkout for scanning, then put the items
back in. So they're not really good for a large shopping trip.

They close with velcro straps so things won't fall out when you're
driving home.

But yes, they reside in the trunk of my car so I have to remember to
take these reuseable bags into the store with me.
