I don't know if this is indicative of ALL combos, like above, but I
measured both my cheapo rental all-electric stove to my daughter's
cheapo rental all-gas stove with a Fluke thermal couple (TC) meter.

The cheapo electric oven would show as much as a 50F degree swing
betweent off and on. My dauhter's cheapo rental gas oven only showed
a 5-10F swing between off/on.

My preference: Electric stove-top, gas oven. I like electric hobs.
They can achieve a lower temp than gas hobs (IME).
