Yep. it costs a lot to eat up there. Parts of northern Canada are worse.
Up in Nunuvat groceries cost at least twice as much as they do down
here. During the winter stuff is shipped on ice roads. During the
summer coastal settlements are supplied by ship. Everything else is
flown in, and that adds a lot to the cost.
