If it doesn't rain I'll be grilling a couple of hot Italian sausages
(will get a bit of a char, for sure!) alongside some split zucchini and
crookneck squash. The squash will be brushed with olive oil (doesn't
have to be EVOO, folks) and simply sprinkled with salt & pepper before
putting on the grill. The squash get a bit of a char, too.
If it does rain, I'll remove the sausage from the casing, brown it in a
skillet, drain off the fat and add it to the tomato sauce/gravy for
spaghetti. That's something I haven't made in a while. I'll also grate
some of the zucchini into the sauce. I like that addition a lot.
The weather is still iffy so I haven't decided on a plan yet.
