I just checked average August humidity in Phoenix. Morning: 46%
Afternoon: 23%

We consider anything below 50% to be a nice, dry day.

Of course, your temperatures are a little higher: average
80/102 low/high in August.

Here it's 90%/56% and 61/81.

Thank god for air-conditioning. It sucks a lot of that moisture
right out of the indoor air.
