My dad and I loved spiced apples. Nobody else in the family did though. So
we had them perhaps once or twice a year. Hard to find here now and too
carby for me but as a kid, I found a recipe for them. The end result was not
quite the same as the store bought ones as I couldn't achieve that deep
color but they tasted fine.
