Missed this one first time around!

Janet, they work nicely in long cooking soups and stews and have a sort
of 'hispanic cookery' feel to me. I got some about 2 years ago and
liked that they stored well. They went into a variety of crockpot
dishes where the long cooking had them hold their shape better (yet be
very mild and buttery, close to a roasted garlic effect at serving
time).
