I don't think Fred Meyer is a **** poor store. And they are more than just a
grocery. I once asked a clerk about pita bread. I did find a soon to expire
package thrown on some wrong aisle so I know they sell it. She had no clue
where it was. I am guessing they were just out on that day. I have seen it
since. Thing is, I do know how to read SEMs and there was none on that day.
I don't know their policy. Perhaps they remove the SEM when something is
sold out?
