I briefly thought about spaghetti sauce (not in that quantity) but I
really have to be in the mood for it. Turns out I wasn't. There's
crushed fennel seed in the fresh Italian sausage I buy. I never add any
extra to the sauce. A little fennel seed goes a long way. YMMV.
