A blog is writing in an informal, non-literary, style. Mostly, people write about what's happening in their lives and their thoughts on various subjects. If you're not blogging on purpose, then you're doing it accidentally.
Blog sites come and go but Google Groups is an excellent choice for bloggers because the posts are indexed and searchable and the post retention goes back for decades. What blog site is able to do that?
