They cost substantially less if you buy them in a box of 6 or 8, I get
them at Lowe's, they're often on sale. Even though LEDs cost more
than incondescents they pay for themselves in two months by using so
little electricity, so they actually cost a lot less, in fact in
reality they cost nothing because they will last 15-20 years. LEDs
offer exceptional savings when used for outdoor lighting, a 14 watt
LED flood offers about 50% more light than a 100 watt incandescent. My
only recommendation is to have a licensed electrician install LED
fixtures as polarity is important.
