I used to belong to an informal group known as the Forum for the
Appreciation of The Almighty Supreme Sid (FATASS) which met for brunch
Saturdays at the Salonica Restaurant in Chicago's Hyde Park. It evolved
from "Brunch with Drunks" at Jimmy's Woodlawn Tap when they started
serving Sunday brunch but we decided that was hazardous to our health.
You could say these gatherings were in the same spirit as Ed's McDonald's
club but a younger demographic. IOW we were precocious old farts.
