My computer is in the "formal" living room, nowhere near the TV. If my
desk wasn't in this room I doubt the room would ever get much use.
Waste of space but that's the way houses were designed back then. I
don't think my parents ever used this room. There just happened to be a
cable jack in this corner and since my ISP is Comcast it worked out
fine!
I watch short videos online, sure. Even though my desk chair
is comfy, I don't care to sit here watching 30 minute shows or movies.
