Back in the mid-60's we had a male collie, Randy. He loved the
family but he hated everyone else and always barked at them
violently. Funny...you know how collies have the ears flopping
over about halfway? Look at pictures of lassie. The floppy ears
were the traditional collie look back then (maybe even today?)
Anyway, that starts at the vet when they are puppies. Vet taped
his ears down half way and supposedly, if you kept them taped,
they would eventually stay folded. Not my dog. He wanted no part
of that nonsense and he would paw his taped ears right away. Tape
them again and he paw them off again. heheh
We finally gave up and he just lived with "up ears" looking like
a giant fox.
