Ouch. I am just healing from my third rotator cuff problem. I tired to
yank a kayak up on shore while it was half full of water. The boat
didn't budge when I yanked hard on it and it started to hurt the next
day. By Day 3 I couldn't move the arm at all. I couldn't even slip a bar
up soap up into my armpit without extreme pain, or even slip a towel up
there to dry off. After a week and a half I had limited movement. Here
I am 5 weeks later and it's pretty well healed, just a little stiffness
when I move it too far back. Luckily, it was my left arm that was disabled.

My friend is having a hell of a time with his right shoulder. While mine
came on fast and healed quickly his got gradually worse. It started
before my injury and he tried to take it easy for a while, but it is
now almost as mine was at the onset.
