Wow. They are cheap buggers. When I was in the reserves we were issued
boots, and I was just a part timer. That summer job provided me with a
new pair each summer. and when I worked for the government we were
allowed a new pair of boots once a year. One year they decided they
would buy our uniform boots because they wanted us to have the same
colour dark brown boots. It was a disaster. However we switched to dark
blue uniforms and black police boots, which were amazing. They were
Insulate and were comfortable in the summer and warm in the winter.
