Amazon Prime deliver is rediculous

Nancy, today I visited my local WH (adjacent to Northwestern University in Evanston IL). I was greeted when I entered the store, but otherwise no big changes...I was sniffing around for price reductions. Did find a nice sirloin steak @ $5.99/lb, some cheese, otherwise nothing earthshaking. Small bag of vittles. $35.00, I was lazy so I did not feel like making an "expedition" to my usual place, where $35.00 would stretch much further...
BTW, I am watching some episodes of the early 60's sitcom "Dobie Gillis". His parents run a corner grocery store, I am noticing that those 1960 prices posted in the store are pretty expensive, adjusted for inflation...
