Meat eaters -also in this newsgroup- hate the moral superiority of the
vegan.

They speak up because they see abuse. Abuse of animals in this case. I
can understand that they sometimes speak up, annoying as it may be. If
I was in the habit of beating up my wife, I also wouldn't want a
neighbour to tell me off.

Hmm I understand why they prefer to eat as they do, but I doubt they have
that ... for me anyway.

I respect their choice as I expect them to respect mine.
