That happens to me often. I'll eat a not so big meal thinking
I'll make the main course later but then later I'm still not
hungry so I skip the 'main course' and am fine until the next
day.
I made that pea soup yesterday. Once done, I had just a small
bowl. So darn delicious, I immediately had another small bowl.
"And that's not all! I even ate one more small bowl. Three in a
row but...total calories of the 3 bowls, maybe 400 calories total
and very low fat.
I skipped dinner that night and only had a small snack...Some
swiss cheese toast.
Anyway...if you read my soup post yesterday, I mentioned how my
sweet potatoes had gone bad so I added extra carrots. That turned
out super fine so I didn't buy sweet potatoes today to add to it.
The soup is still amazing even without the sweet potato (or
butternut squash).
Sad that you won't try it because you think pea soup looks like
vomit. It sure doesn't taste like it.
Not only that, I tried your "signature" butternut squash soup and
it's delicious but, in reality the color of YOUR soup looks more
like authentic vomit than the green of pea soup.
