OK, so I came upon a method to make ice cream without a ice cream freezer.
You use a stand mixer. I decided to try green tea ice cream.
3 tablespoons matcha powder
2 cups heavy whipping cream
14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Chill bowl, whip cream to form stiff peaks, add condensed milk, mix some
more to incorporate. Mix a little hot water with matcha powder and blend
into cream mixture. Freeze for 6 hours.
