It's even getting chilly way down south! It's only supposed to hit 62F
today. I love this time of year, cool, crisp and no humidity. Just
last week it was still in the 80's and very humid after a couple of days
of rain; I had to turn the AC back on.

I love loaded potato soup. I use russet "baking" potatoes, though, not
red ones. I usually plan ahead so that I'm having, say, steak and a
baked potato the night before. Bake extra potatoes and use them to make
the soup.
