I went to the Club on Friday night to pick up an order of fish & chips.
I heard a couple of guys at the end of the bar complaining about how hot
it gets here. Surprise! It's southern South Carolina! What on earth
did you expect?
I heard one guy say he's lived here 4 months, he's from New Jersey. The
other guy has been here for a year, off and on from somewhere in New
York. They were complaining about the heat. I didn't say anything but
I was thinking to myself "At least you won't have to deal with snow."
Shoveling, blowing, sanding, salt & ashes. Corrosion under your car.
Snow tires. Trying to get to the grocery store on icy roads. You moved
here for a reason. Golf. Don't know why you wouldn't expect it to be
hot down here.
I haven't made meatloaf in a number of years. I really should do it again.
