Wow...what a blast from the past. That was my first car purchase.
A used 1968 Dodge Tradesman Van. I bought it in Feb.1973
Had a slanted-6 engine and engine cover was inbetween seats.

I customized the back...paneling, bed, etc

Here's a pic of the moment that I moved out on my own forever. I
said my goodbyes to family then Mom(tm) took this picture as I
was backing out of the driveway (Washington,DC suburbs) to move
to Virginia Beach, end of May 1973.
