I was given a can of brussels sprouts by my former MIL back around 1982.
I remember thinking how odd! I'd had frozen brussels sprouts (mostly)
and fresh on occasion. But not canned. Ugh. I've never seen canned
broccoli. Then again, I don't - and wouldn't - look for it.
